The Edmonton Linux User Group (ELUG) is a group of enthusiasts interested in sharing knowledge and experiences of Linux and GNU/Linux-based operating systems (and beer?), and enjoy the freedom and adventure of using free and open source software.

Everybody is welcome, whether you know nothing at all about Linux (how do you pronounce “Linux” anyway?), or whether you are a professional veteran of Linux for decades, or anywhere in between.

We meet virtually and in person every 4th Thursday of the month. Meeting events and details are posted on our website: elug.ca.

Our meetups revolve around presentations and discussion topics from our members. If you have a topic or any Linux-related idea you would like to talk about, please come out to a meeting and feel free to share.
